CODE OF ETHICS AND GOOD BUSINES PRACTICE

  • C&C commits itself to providing added value to suppliers and clients. It does so in a number of ways: quick response to enquiries, answer to technical questions, follow-up on all request and orders to achieve proper coordination and, in doing so, deliver the best possible service to suppliers and clients.
  • C&C commits itself to confidentiality in all our dealings. It respects existing relationships and intermediaries and expects others to abide by the same gentlemanly rules.
  • C&C commits itself not to make unnecessary requests to our suppliers and to be diligent in dealing with our clients.  In order for us to live up to this standard, C&C would like to be able to expect from suppliers and clients timely and efficient communication.
  • C&C commits itself to safety and environmental issues and tries to promote this by transmitting all pertinent information on the machinery we supply, its condition and other pertaining information, but take no responsibility for information not supplied to us by either, supplier, client or ultimate user. It pre-supposes that all clients transmit to us local regulations and laws that apply in connection with the purchase, or import and use of machinery when this information is a pre-requisite on a purchase. But C&C does not take responsibility when this information is not clearly expressed to us in client’s orders, or when suppliers, by error or omission, overlook this information when it has been transmitted to them. C&C takes also no responsibility for improper use or maintenance of equipment, or failure to meet local applicable rules for operation of machinery by the buyer or end user.
  • C&C abides by international laws in all its sales transactions. It abides by international banking practices and regulations. It doesn’t accept checks or any form of payments not accepted by banks as bona-fide secure payments. C&C accepts Letter of Credit accepted by our local bank and expects clients to supply first a draft of the L/C in order to check the exact terms and contents in order to warrant a smooth transaction in the best interest of all parties.
  • It expects all its suppliers to back-up their claim of certification and their technical specifications with the necessary proof upon request, in order to warrant that the equipment sold meets the manifested standards when these are part of the conditions of an offer or even when it’s already a presupposed compliance by the manufacturer or supplier, according to the known standard manufacturer’s specifications.
  • C&C commits itself to resolving misunderstandings, disagreements and disputes in an amicable manner.
